Cybersecurity Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Network Defense Analyst to support our Intelligence Community (IC) missions through our Next Generation Analysts portfolio in Utah.

Our national security relies heavily on technology, and this dependence is growing at an ever-increasing rate. As a cyber professional in the intelligence community, you will work as part of a team on the frontlines against our cyber adversaries.

• Use information collected from various sources to identify potential vulnerabilities, respond to cyber events, and defend against potential threats.
• Help develop mitigations to strengthen network defenses and protect against attacks on network infrastructure devices or systems.
• Support a wide range of data transport possibilities, including traditional wired networks, wireless transport, and collaborative platforms.
• Advance your career by developing expertise in networking protocols and architectures, cloud security, Internet of Things protocols, and advanced network security.
• Be part of a team working together with government, military, and contractor personnel to develop shared understandings of intelligence needs, mission relevance, and areas of expertise.
• Apply your analytical talent to form hypotheses, critically assess and choose analysis techniques, and query, merge, enrich, evaluate, and pivot within data to attain and share insights.
• Distill, document, contextualize, and share your findings, including any new tradecraft you develop, with teammates, stakeholders, and intelligence consumers.

• STEM degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, and/or systems engineering.
• Experience in network or system administration.
• Documented foreign language proficiency may count toward experience requirements.
• Clearance Required: TS/SCI w/Poly.
• Minimum Education: Technical Degree (additional experience, military training, or certifications can be substituted for degree).
• Minimum Years of Experience: 10yrs with an Associates Degree, 8yrs with a Bachelor's degree, 6yrs with a Master's degree, 4yrs with a Doctorate degree.
