About the Role

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team in a psychiatric care setting. As a Psychiatric LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with the care team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and perform nursing assessments as needed
  • Take temperatures, pulse, blood pressure, and weight, as well as blood draws, as required
  • Responsible for taking urine samples and completing necessary paperwork
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements
  • Current LPN license in the state of assignment
  • 1 year of experience in a psychiatric care setting preferred
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
  • Participation in Amergis' Competency program when applicable
  • Current CPR certification, if applicable
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray, if applicable
  • Current Health certificate, per contract or state regulation
  • Meet all federal, state, and local requirements
  • Successful completion of new hire training, as applicable to the job site
  • Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in the English language
  • Computer proficiency required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
