About the Role

Catholic Charities Serving Central Washington is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse to join our team. As a Psychiatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our clients, working collaboratively with our psychiatric provider and other disciplines to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing care to consumers, including patient assessment, medication administration, and coordination of lab results.
  • Work closely with the psychiatric prescriber to monitor medications and develop plans of care.
  • Act as a consumer advocate and educator, providing medication education and wellness groups as needed.
  • Supervise ancillary personnel and participate in team building and quality improvement activities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of paperwork and maintenance of records to meet MCO requirements and agency policy.
Requirements
  • ADN, BSN, or MSN degree in nursing.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in direct patient care, disease processes, and psychiatric knowledge.
  • Electronic Health and EMR Records skills (EHR).
  • Good interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct home visits and provide service in a culturally competent manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member, representing the agency in a professional manner within the community.
  • RN licensure in the state of Washington and valid Washington State drivers license.
