    • Research and Prepare Variance Analysis and Explanation.
    • Roll-forward and itemized walk-forward analysis.

  • Experience with analyzing P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
  • Experience performing financial planning and analysis.
  • Experienced in analyzing and interpreting complex data, including modeling.

  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and handle large amounts of data both operational and financial in a multi-user platform.
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction and/or supervision.

  • Familiarity with average costing and standard cost systems, inventory control procedures, and automated inventory control systems.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Must be physically able to perform work assigned.
  • Must be physically capable of accessing all plant, terminal, and office locations as needed.
  • Tolerate working outside in weather conditions as well as exposure to industrial high temperatures, noise, and dust.
  • Access all areas within a site which could include heights of 120 feet, confined spaces, climbing ladders or stairs, and accessing tunnels.
  • Will be working in an office, mining, and lime processing environment.
  • The employee will be exposed to the following working conditions: Extreme Heat and Cold, Noise, Vibration, Oils, and Atmospheric Conditions such as Dust, Fumes, and Metallic Particles.
  • The employee will be required to perform the following actions (from time to time): Standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, talking, seeing, hearing, and sitting.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% as needed or directed by leadership.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, and/or equivalent proven work experience in the field.
PREFERRED EDUCATION
  • Graduate work is a plus; MBA/CPA preferred.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Must have 3-5 years' experience in financial analysis, accounting, cost accounting, in corporate, banking, manufacturing, and/or mining environment.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Four (4) plus years of experience in public/private accounting, finance, in private equity, mining, cement, chemical, manufacturing, construction, or process environments.
