Job Summary: Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc. seeks a highly motivated Service Coordinator to provide support services to employees, managers, and customers in the western and central Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia, and western Maryland area.

About the Role: This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to ensure efficient documentation flow and supply distribution. The ideal candidate will be able to perform various tasks, including opening and closing master and sub work orders, entering time into the Time Collection System, and preparing required paperwork.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers with inquiries related to parts, equipment, rebuilt items, or repairs
  • Enter personnel time into the time collection system and generate required paperwork
  • Advise concerned parties on job status
  • Generate internal, monthly, master, and sub work orders as well as purchase orders for repairs
  • Maintain up-to-date files of product catalogues and technical data
  • Order parts by computer for repairs from inside or outside the Company and oversee distribution
  • Accept payments for services
  • Keep logs of repairs performed, customer calls, and parts required
  • Compile reports on service employee hours, repair time on customer equipment, and machine history
  • Initiate warranty claims and credit unused or defective parts against work orders
  • Schedule repair work in absence of supervision

Requirements:

  • Clerical experience in a service shop demonstrating increased responsibility and significant exposure to engine fundamentals
  • Strong communication skills for dealing with customers and fellow employees
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work based on time constraints
  • Knowledge of product and part inventory, diesel and gas engines
