Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architect to join our team at Ascension. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex network services, ensuring the security and scalability of our network systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall design, development, and implementation of complex network services, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, cloud-based networks, and network access control.
  • Develop and maintain a long-term network architecture strategy that supports the organization's growth and technological advancements.
  • Ensure that network architecture adheres to all security standards, including HIPAA compliance, and work closely with the cybersecurity team to implement robust security protocols.
  • Oversee large-scale network projects, from conception through implementation, ensuring that all milestones are met within scope, time, and budget.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams, including cloud engineering, datacenter, and software development, to ensure seamless integration and operation of network systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in network architecture and design, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role within a healthcare environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
