About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse Leader to join our team at Broward Health Medical Center.

Job Summary:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned Critical Care Nurse to take on leadership responsibilities and contribute to the success of our Rapid Response Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Provide direct care to patients in critical condition, ensuring their comfort and well-being while working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Nursing Leadership: Assume leadership roles within the Rapid Response Team, guiding colleagues in delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Trauma and Emergency Experience: Utilize skills and expertise to care for critically ill patients, prioritizing their needs and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:

  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Education: Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Experience: Five years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in Critical Care or Trauma/Emergency nursing

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range: $98,000 - $125,000 per year
  • FTE: 0.9 (36 hours/week)
