ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Relationship Development

  • Possess expert knowledge of small business deposit products and intermediate understanding of small business lending products.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in outbound calling processes and mentor other associates.
  • Effectively identify referral opportunities with internal business partners.
  • Source Treasury Management solutions and services, along with small business lending needs.
  • Lead customer-facing technology initiatives and guide clients in self-service products/processes.
  • Assist leadership by processing applications to meet small business customer needs.
Operational Responsibilities
  • Open and manage accounts, perform account maintenance, process checks, cash, and negotiable instrument transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures, safeguarding against criminal or fraudulent activities.
  • Ensure branch compliance with AML/BSA requirements, operational procedures, audit protocols, risk/control expectations, and all other regulatory banking requirements; communicate updates to associates and follow up on audit deficiencies.
  • Practice ethical sales behaviors aligned with the Associate Code of Conduct and Sales Practices Policy, prioritizing the customer's best interests when offering additional products and services.
  • Balance cash drawer daily and monitor work for accuracy.
  • Follow management directives to resolve complex customer objections and address issues promptly to maintain customer relationships.
  • Adhere to Seacoast Bank's Code of Conduct.
  • Comply with all safety and security protocols.
  • May assist Branch Leadership in operational and customer service supervisory functions in their absence.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred: Minimum of 6 months cash handling experience.
  • Preferred: College degree.
  • Required: 4+ years of experience in financial services.
  • Flexible schedule required with the ability to work during operational hours, including weekends and occasional non-standard hours.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and take initiative.
  • Proficient in using Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, and Smartphone devices, as well as Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • Active NMLS or 2+ years of lending experience required.
