Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sanitation Manager to join our team at Shamrock Foods Company. As a key member of our quality leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our sanitation policies, procedures, and systems are effectively implemented and maintained within our internal plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sanitation policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company, regulatory, and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with quality leadership and cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Manage daily sanitation activities to ensure associates adhere to safety requirements, cleaning and sanitation procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Enforce GMP and Housekeeping standards, develop visual standards for the workplace, and conduct facility sanitation training.
  • Develop and maintain plant Master Sanitation Schedule, Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems, Sterilize-In-Place (SIP) systems, and environmental monitoring programs.
  • Implement sanitation and allergen preventive controls as part of the facility Food Safety Plan.
  • Verify and maintain records associated with Master Sanitation Schedule, CIP Titration logs, CIP Charts, Pre-Operational Inspections, and environmental monitoring programs.
  • Work with sanitation chemical and equipment suppliers to manage equipment fund and execute Master Sanitation Schedule.
  • Complete review of monthly service reporting for sanitation/CIP effectiveness and implement corrective actions as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in a dairy/beverage manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of dairy processing, regulatory compliance, GMP, sanitation, CIP, HACCP, and GFSI certification.
  • FSMA PCQI, HACCP Manager Certification, SQF Practitioner Certification, and SQF Auditor Certification or ability to complete within 6 months of hire.
  • Able to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical documents, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Able to effectively present information to management and employees.
  • Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Physical Demands
  • Regularly stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, talk or hear, and taste or smell.
  • Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
