Key Responsibilities
  • Visualize concepts by crafting preliminary layouts of artwork and text, considering arrangement, size, typography, and style, along with related aesthetic ideas.
  • Design and coordinate web graphics, brochures, logos, flyers, and video graphics for specific projects.
  • Fulfill marketing requests from various branches within strict deadlines and according to specified guidelines, adhering to all company policies.
  • Create written content for materials and ensure accuracy in grammar and factual information. Verify that graphics and images are approved, precise, and current.
  • Ensure that the layout of all marketing materials, graphics, and images is logical and accessible. Suggest enhancements as necessary. Prepare photos for print and digital marketing use.
  • Gain familiarity with mortgage-specific products, services, licensing information, disclosures, and compliance requirements using internal resources.
  • Assist users with the design of web pages and email templates.
  • Participate in reviewing and proofreading all advertisements.
  • Contribute to team efforts by completing projects as required.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred; an Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is acceptable.
  • Two to four years of relevant experience and/or training in graphic design and the creation, development, and analysis of marketing materials.
  • Proficiency or working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; audio and video technology; Adobe Flash; HTML, HTML5, CSS, and other markup languages; and JavaScript.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute instructions provided in written or oral form.
  • Capability to work within tight deadlines and budgets while demonstrating excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and email applications.
  • Ability to comprehend and/or calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest rates, proportions, and percentages.
  • Understanding of audio and video technology and methods; HTML, HTML5, CSS, other markup languages; and CRM systems.
