Educational Facilitator

OBJECTIVE: To guide students in acquiring essential academic, social, and developmental skills through comprehensive instruction across various subjects, fostering their holistic growth.

• Evaluate students' educational needs and create a tailored educational strategy to meet those requirements.
• Design interactive lesson plans, assisting students in effective study methods and social skills.
• Assess students' strengths and areas for improvement, providing direction towards their advancement.
• Deliver instruction to students on an individual basis, in small groups, or to the entire class.
• Maintain open communication with families, counselors, and colleagues to track student development.
• Support students in overcoming learning challenges and preparing for standardized assessments.
• Keep meticulous records of educational strategies, goals, and progress.
• Oversee classroom activities, ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Establish and enforce classroom rules and administrative procedures.
• Supervise students during extracurricular engagements and ensure discipline.
• Follow prescribed treatment protocols and participate in relevant meetings.
• Exhibit a compassionate and professional attitude, prioritizing student welfare and resolving issues effectively.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

• Carry out any other responsibilities or tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related discipline that qualifies for teacher certification in the applicable state.
• Experience working with a similar demographic is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of the developmental stages and behaviors of students.

CREDENTIALS:

• Valid teaching certification in the relevant state.
• Certifications in CPR, de-escalation/restraint (training provided), and potentially First Aid.
