Advanced Technology Group (ATG): The ATG is dedicated to pioneering research and technological advancements. Our mission is to explore future possibilities, provide insights, and develop innovative solutions that propel Dolby's growth. Our team encompasses a wide array of expertise in fields such as AI/ML, algorithms, digital signal processing, audio engineering, image processing, data science, and IoT.
Your Role: As a key member of the ATG, you will lead initiatives in cutting-edge research and technology development.
- Innovative Research:
- Drive the development of next-generation AI-driven imaging and video processing technologies, focusing on advanced capture solutions and sensor integration.
- Leverage your expertise in traditional and AI-based image processing to enhance research in content delivery and analysis.
- Talent Development:
- Mentor and guide a team of researchers, fostering their growth and independence in a corporate setting.
- Contribute to creating a dynamic and innovative work environment.
- Strategic Direction:
- Collaborate with global research teams to define project directions and identify key initiatives.
- Work alongside technology leaders to align research with Dolby's strategic goals and product development.
- Engage with business groups to translate research findings into practical applications across various products.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. with 8+ years of experience in corporate research, specializing in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- Expertise in image sensors, camera processing, and 3D modeling.
- Deep understanding of AI technologies and their applications in imaging.
- Experience in developing innovative image processing solutions with a strong publication record.
- Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on teamwork.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is competitive and varies based on location, experience, and qualifications. Additional benefits and bonuses are also provided.
