Position Overview

As a vital member of our housekeeping team, you will respond promptly to requests from guests and collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and reporting maintenance issues in public areas and guest accommodations.
  • Delivering guest requests and arranging furniture in guest rooms as needed.
  • Transporting items from hallways to service areas, including room service trays, soiled linens, and other debris.
  • Maintaining, cleaning, and storing housekeeping equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols, reporting any maintenance problems or safety hazards immediately. Complete necessary safety training and certifications, and ensure proper storage of flammable materials. Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating their service needs and assisting individuals with disabilities. Communicate effectively with team members and guests using clear and professional language.

Physical Requirements

Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, and over 55 pounds with assistance. Capable of pushing and pulling a loaded housekeeping cart over uneven surfaces, and performing tasks that require bending, twisting, and reaching.

Preferred Qualifications

No formal education required; previous experience in a similar role is not necessary. No supervisory experience is needed, and no specific licenses or certifications are required.
