About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
Job Summary:
- The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address patients' unique needs and goals.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families about health promotion and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between settings.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and care activities.
Requirements:
- A graduate degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Minnesota.
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
- Experience working in an acute care setting, preferably in a medical-surgical unit.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
