Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing patient history and physician's orders, educating patients regarding procedures and equipment, and preparing and administering contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviews patient history and physician's orders
  • Educates patients regarding procedures and equipment
  • Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications
  • Monitors patient condition and reports/responds to changes in status
  • Prepares equipment and supplies
  • Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters
  • Implements safety standards and performs quality control procedures
  • Positions patients and performs imaging procedures
  • Analyzes results and identifies issues with image quality
  • Takes action to resolve image quality issues
  • Enters, transmits, and reports scan results

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Radiology or related field
  • Verified by Ky State license
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days

Work Schedule:

Per Diem/PRN, rotating weekends and various shifts
