Key Responsibilities- Provide basic patient care duties, including vital sign collection, patient weighing, and specimen collection.
- Assist providers with examination and treatment of patients, as well as with procedures.
- Assist with patient flow through the clinic, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Answer phone calls and record messages, assisting providers with patient-related communications.
- Schedule test appointments, results, and pre-certification as needed.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
- Assist providers with medication refills and administer medications/immunizations as ordered.
- Clean and restock exam rooms, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Perform routine clerical duties, including chart location, filing, and form completion.
- Attend required meetings and in-service training, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Certification as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- LVN License in the state of employment or compact
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
