Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Plastic Injection Molding Technician to join our team at ITW. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot molding machines and peripheral equipment
  • Perform mold set-up and adjustment, as well as quality checks and material handling
  • Verify machine parameters and condition, and troubleshoot processing problems
  • Set molds, dies, and other equipment to meet scheduled requirements
  • Monitor machine cycle time, yields, and quality of parts
  • Maintain production records and ensure good housekeeping
  • Perform preventive maintenance and train other team members as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience required
  • 5+ years of experience as a Set-up Technician in a plastic injection molding environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as good communication skills
  • Knowledge of Wittmann robots and OSHA requirements
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends
