We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aquatics Lifeguard and Aquatics Head Lifeguard to join our team at the City of Corvallis. As a key member of our aquatics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of pool users, while also providing exceptional customer service and support to our community.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain constant vigilance over pool users and respond promptly to emergencies
- Provide lifeguard services in both indoor and outdoor pools, enforcing safety rules and regulations
- Monitor pool usage and ensure compliance with City of Corvallis and American Red Cross standards
- Assist with pool maintenance, cleaning, and setup
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to public inquiries
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth facility operations
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED certifications
- Previous lifeguard experience preferred
- Ability to work irregular schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
