Job Description

Oaks Senior Living, LLC is seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Medication Aide to join our team. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our residents and upholding our Person Centered Lifestyle philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on supervision of caregiver staff during shifts to ensure quality resident care.
  • Administer scheduled medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and Oaks Senior Living policy.
  • Provide personalized care and services to residents, upholding our policies and procedures.
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations and ensure residents' rights to safe, prompt, and confidential treatment.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year of experience working with residents in a Senior Living environment.
  • Supervisory experience in a healthcare or service industry preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Friendly, caring disposition and desire to work with older adults.
  • Must be 21 years of age and have a satisfactory criminal history check.
  • Must have a physical exam by a licensed physician and a negative drug screen.
  • Must be able to react in an emergency situation.

Physical Job Requirements:

  • Stand/walk up to eight hours a day.
  • Sit up to two hours a day.
  • Frequently support up to 70 pounds and occasionally lift/carry up to 15 pounds.
