Job Summary

Premier Medical Resources is seeking a highly skilled Medical Account Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for providing medical collection services for hospital systems and associated surgery centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily collection activities, including follow-up, account resolution, and communication with patients, external associates, and reimbursement vendors.
  • Utilize a strong background in medical collection to successfully resolve accounts for collection.
  • Maintain knowledge of overall collection work processes for both active AR and BD inventory.
  • Ensure patient and physician satisfaction while adhering to all physician, state, and federal guidelines.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two (2) years of experience in medical account recovery
  • General knowledge of revenue cycle account recovery accounts
  • Knowledge of health insurance claims, billing, collection, and resolution
