Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate performance and deliver education to EMS personnel to ensure they meet the highest standards of care.
  • Assist in developing course curriculum based on industry standards and customer needs to ensure our EMS personnel are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills.
  • Provide training on certification courses and job-related content to ensure our EMS personnel are proficient in their roles.
  • Ensure ongoing proficiency of Paramedics and EMTs through testing and evaluation to maintain the highest level of care.
  • Create and maintain multimedia education programs to enhance the learning experience for our EMS personnel.
  • Collaborate with Field Training Officers to onboard new employees effectively and ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
Requirements
  • 2 years of prehospital care experience
  • Nationally Registered EMT or Paramedic
  • Ability to obtain MN State Certification within 90 days
  • Meet system driver insurability standards
  • Preferred qualifications include an Associate degree or higher, 4 years of prehospital care experience, 2 years of adult education/teaching experience, ACLS and BLS Instructor certifications, and Department of Transportation Instructor certification.
