Unique opportunity to join one of the largest providers of financial services, trading products and market making services. The developer for this role will join a small group of technologists whose primary function is supporting the efforts of the fast-growing fixed income trading desk.

You will be responsible for the development, ownership and maintenance of the research platform for Fixed Income products. This is a critical role, building out the infrastructure for traders and quants to research their ideas and helping translate these ideas into impactful trading strategies.

The successful candidate will be a skilled problem-solver, with outstanding communication skills at all levels on both technical and non-technical subjects.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years' software development experience
  • Strong programming skills with fluency in C++ and Python
  • Good academic record with excellent GPA (Computer Science, Engineering or other STEM major preferred)
  • Knowledge of Linux/Unix environment & tools
  • High level of technical agility, with an interest in innovative technologies

Desirable
  • Knowledge of Rust
  • Understanding of fixed income products, e.g. corporate credit, ETFs, treasury bonds
