Who we are looking for
Globallink Infrastructure is looking to hire AVP level candidate for the Platform Engineering team. This is a hybrid role between Systems Engineering and Development.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for
  • Develop, test, debug, and implement software programs with minimal supervision.
  • Work under minimal supervision to analyze, design, develop, test, and debug small to medium software solutions within Globallink Infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with other teams within the firm.
  • Participate in the architectural design and enhancement within the team's scope of responsibility.
  • Contibute to api documention.
  • Automate testing of the software components built by Platform Engineering team.
  • Adhere to SDLC practices.
  • Provide thoughtful insight and suggestions in code reviews.
  • Occasionally provide L2-L3 support for Globallink products.
  • Build monitoring dashboards and tools for Infra systems and Globallink products.

Education & Minimum Technical Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Linux is a must.
  • Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
  • 3+ years with any of the following - Go, Python, C++, Java
  • Experience in building applications with RDBMS (Postgres, Oracle, Mysql)
  • Experience in working with messaging conduits.
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of networking concepts - TCP, UDP, TLS, HTTP, load balancing etc.
  • Ability to focus on multiple, time-sensitive activities without compromising the quality of work
  • Possess good problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all staff and peers

$100,000 - $160,000 Annual
