Our work depends on an Elastic Application Engineer joining our team to support the design, development, engineering, integration, and technical and operational support to employ specified NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and Deployed Forces (DF) portion of the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN).  HOW AN ELASTIC APPLICATION ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT● Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction● Review, analyze and Tier III support for patches and updates, to include testing the baseline in the Engineering Operations Facility (EOF) prior to release to the RCCs.  ● Develop Enterprise Technical Procedures (ETPs) with the directions to apply patches, upgrades and security configurations and/or updates to the baseline system in the EOF for testing IAW with the STIGs. ● Operational experience in implementation and sustainment of NetOps capabilities across all operational and strategic echelons in the LWN to include Joint components in support of the Army’s GNE/NSC. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
