The Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Health Practitioner position has clinical, procedural, administrative and educational responsibilities in the care of adult patients requiring cardiac and thoracic surgery. The responsibilities will include preoperative and postoperative patient examination and assessment, diagnosis and planning; treatment implementation, coordination and continuity; performance of specific procedures; development of practice protocols and evaluation of quality of care; education of patients, families and other health care practitioners.
*Start Date:* 11/4/2024
*Schedule: *6AM-6:30PM or 6PM to 6:30AM. 3 12hr shifts/week. Usually 3 wknd shifts/month & 3 night shifts/month.
*Must have OR exp, CT surg exp., pref ICU exp. & endoscopic vein harvest (EVH) exp. AHA ACLS/BLS. Minimal 1st assist time as they have 2 fellows on service.*
