ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Disassemble, sanitize machines, processing equipment as required and reassemble all equipment and machinery for production runs.
Complete processes with proper care, no damage, and loss of parts. Properly apply and understand cleaning practices, sanitizing agents and cleaning tools. Assure safety processes are followedRead chemical labels to ensure safe applicationsOther duties as assignedFollow all Food Safety requirements and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)Ensure conformance to company standards and customer specificationsAssist in cleanliness of general work areaAbility to work days and hours that can change on a regular basisWelcome new-hires to the department, provide tours, and introductionsProvide training and guidance to all department associatesAssist with new hire interviews and lead on-boarding activities with new associatesProvide long-term support and follow-up for the new associatesParticipate in Safety Team MeetingsParticipate in Formal Training ClassesComply with food safety practices and all applicable requirements as they pertain to SQF and that are maintainedSupport company driven food safety improvement initiatives SUPERVISION :

NA WORK ENVIRONMENT Work continually in refrigerated environment 35° F- 45° F degrees MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Able to work overtime as needed with or without notice EDUCATION / TRAINING High school diploma or GED preferredBasic Reading, Writing, and Math Skills RELATED EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS Experience in production, warehouse, food processing, manufacturing food production or food service warehouse environment.Ability to work flexible schedule including overtime with hours and days that can changeAbility to work in a refrigerated climateUtilization of soft skills, positive attitude, and ability to welcome and lead new associatesStrong attendance and reliabilityStrong leadership capabilities KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES Perform various roles including activities such as product receiving and selection, packaging, sorting, reboxing, marination, further processing and facility sanitation while adhering to company manufacturing requirements and safety regulations. PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS The physical demands of this position are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job the associate is primarily asked to stand and walk. Light, periodic lifting will be required. Must be able to lift 25 pounds and must be able to multi-task in a fast paced, noisy environment. Must be able to push by utilizing up to 40 pounds of force. Some specific jobs within operation may require lifting up to 45 pounds.Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $20. and $ 21.45 hr. As applicable, this role will also receive overtime compensation.
