We want your knowledge and expertiseJob Summary and QualificationsUltrasound Technologist II PRN/SonographerOur Imaging Teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently accepting applications for an Ultrasound Technologist on a full-time/part-time/PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. As our new Ultrasound Technologist or Sonographer, you will perform routine diagnostic sonographic procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care. If you are dedicated to caring for others, this could be your next opportunity.Your tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with established operating proceduresObtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic imagesMaintain proactive and effective communication with patient and radiologist regarding any findings, patient histories and test results as appropriateQualifications:General Ultrasound experience preferredGraduate of an accredited program for radiographers or ultra-sonographers; Vocational School GraduateCurrent Ultrasound registry through the ARDMS required Abdomen, OB/GYN and Vascular experience preferredCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationAbility to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital is a 215 bed acute care hospital.
