Here, you will make an impact by:Responsible for Creating, Managing and reporting on the Solventum corporate Engineering Capital Plan.  Serving as a key liaison to the business and responsible for the relationship between Engineering and the Business Client to guide them through capital project estimating, funding requests, and project reporting across the capital investment plan.Develop and implement Capital Project estimating standards and tools for the teams to ensure consistent format and content across all investments.Business administrator for the Company Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) system.Administers the capital project budget planning efforts and timing in conjunction with Finance. Coordinates with business and engineering leaders to develop and finalize the project list and priorities to be rolled up to the overall corporate investment plan.Manages the capital project approval process, ensuring all requests have been vetted and approved per the company governance requirements. Organizes and leads the Capital Review Board and Functional Review Teams for the approval process in accordance with the grants of authority.Ensures compliance to capital project governance and property and accounting requirements.Your Skills and Expertise  To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 8 years of project estimating and controls experience a private, public, government or military environment. ORHigh School Diploma/GED AND 12 years of project estimating and controls experience a private, public, government or military environment. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Master’s Degree and 6 years of direct function related experience in a private, public, government or military environment. Demonstratable Business and Financial Acumen / Knowledge in the area of capital project estimating and cost controlsProven ability to successfully influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts to drive decisions across all levels of the organizationAbility to operate at Strategic and Operational levelsStrong analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasksAbility to drive for results while navigating ambiguityWork location: Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to a Solventum location at least 2 days per week.)Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being Solventum offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
