Apply today for our Burn ICU RN Quality Specialist opening and continue to learnJob Summary and QualificationsAbout the Burn UnitOur small cohesive staff with a focus on quality patient care and outcomes.Opportunity to care for a specialized patient population in a supportive and educational settingWhat you will do in this role: Perform medical record reviews to examine and assess provider documentation and to ensure patient severity of illness and health acuity is accurately reflectedPerform prospective, concurrent and retrospective review of various types of patient medical records from multiple settings. The Clinical Reviewer assessments also provide guidance for ongoing provider coaching, training and facilitation. Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. Reviews, amends and submits data for the ABA Burn Repository and compliance for Burn Center Verification. Other duties as needed related to the Burn Center data requirements. What qualifications you will need:Registered NurseAssociate Degree3 years of hospital experience required, experience in Quality a plusKnowledge of spreadsheets including pivot tables, graphing and basic statistics; knowledge of PowerPoint; knowledge of Quality Improvement methodology and team facilitationResearch Medical Center is a 585+ bed hospital.
