The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced and diverse environment and will have a management team that encourages your career development and growth.In this role, you will gain many skills, such as critical thinking and problem solving, the ability to communicate complicated problems in a concise manner, solve complex problems, and be part of a talented litigation support and eDiscovery technical team.Candidates assigned to this task must have the ability to adjust to changing priorities and work well under pressure. The Enterprise Vault is hosted on physical and virtualized Windows Servers and therefore requires the candidate to provide a wide range of support tasks including but not limited to:Participate in teleconferences or technical meetings to review, educate, and support program objectives;Perform configurations, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting using current engineering documentation;Record configurations change requests through the established change control board;Process storage requests, migrations and decommission tasks;Monitor failed system components and coordinate logistics, vendor support, and site support as needed;Respond to monitoring alerts and warnings with prompt corrective actions and escalations;Complete all scheduled maintenance in accordance with established policies and procedures;Prevent data loss or storage system outages by exercising a high level of attention to detail during maintenance;Manage technology in remote environments;Review and process tickets related to supported system according to the established service level agreements tracked within the service manager database;Provide initial response, Level 1 and Level 2 escalation for outages;Schedule maintenance actions in a timely manner;Create Power Shell and VBS scripts as needed to automate routine maintenance tasks;Facilitate the migration of system into cloud infrastructure;Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, and systems;Review system and application logs to verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups;Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis; upgrade administrative tools and utilities; upgrade end user applications;Configure / add new services as necessary;Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks;Prepare and review technical assessments to include required tasks, estimated time frames, and effort for any scope project;Provide before/ or after core hour work as required.Basic QualificationsMinimum of 7 years of Systems Engineer/Administrator experienceMinimum of 5 years of previous experience in architecture and design of complex high-available systemsArchitectural level experience with multi-site DAG and Exchange stretch cluster technology for exchangeActive Clearance: Top Secret with SSBI and ability to obtain SCI clearance.Possess at least 3 years of Veritas eDiscovery 10 or industry recognized review platform Experience.System administration knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2016, 2019, and Microsoft O365.Experience administrating and supporting Microsoft Windows server 2016/2019 in a large physical and virtual infrastructure.Full understanding of DNS, WINS, DHCP, and LDAP compliant directories.Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure/Amazon AWS), and network architecture.Experience with VMware virtualization administration and tools, Vsphere console, and a firm understanding of virtualized infrastructure concepts.Disaster recovery and ancillary messaging components.In-depth knowledge of email archival systems messaging systems, system administration and architecture expertise.Demonstrated ability to work independently with high level of initiative and excellent troubleshooting skills, as well as work in a team environment.Demonstrated experience showing excellent communication skills and experience presenting and training technical concepts to various audiences within the FBI.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience working in a Federal Government environment.Original Posting Date:2024-08-28While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
