Position Summary: The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring salaried positions across Carl Buddig and Company's three business units. This role involves partnering with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, implementing effective recruiting strategies, and assisting with employee engagement initiatives. The position is hybrid, with three days onsite at our Homewood, IL office and two days working remotely. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
Position Fulfillment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for salaried positions across three business units, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection. Candidate Sourcing: Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and recruiting events. Hiring Manager Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and business needs and provide guidance throughout the hiring process. Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings, including passive candidate outreach.
Candidate Experience:
Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for candidates and hiring managers. Candidate Engagement: Provide an exceptional candidate experience, maintaining regular communication and providing feedback throughout the recruitment process. Onboarding Support: Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition and positive initial experience.
Employee Engagement:
Engagement Initiatives: Support employee engagement initiatives by participating in and assisting with planning and execution of activities, events, and programs aimed at enhancing the workplace culture. Feedback Gathering: Collaborate with HR to gather employee feedback and contribute to the development of engagement strategies and improvements.
Compliance & Reporting:
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEO and affirmative action requirements. Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and reports, providing regular updates to HR and hiring managers on recruitment metrics and progress.
Employer Branding:
Brand Promotion: Promote Carl Buddig and Company’s employer brand through various channels, including social media, career fairs, and networking events. Content Creation: Develop recruitment marketing materials, including job descriptions, social media posts, and promotional content that align with the company’s brand and values.
Qualifications: Education & Experience:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruiting, preferably in a multi-unit business environment. Experience in the food industry is a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
Recruiting Expertise: Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and talent acquisition strategies. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence candidates and stakeholders. Relationship Building: Proven ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and HR colleagues. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Technology Proficiency: Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting software, and social media platforms for recruitment purposes.
