We want your knowledge and expertiseJob Summary and QualificationsThe Medical Imaging Specialist III – Cardio demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served in the department. The Medical Imaging Specialist III is responsible for providing cardiac ultrasound services. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply todayDemonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his or her age specific needs, and provide the care needed as described in the department’s policies and proceduresProvides cardiac ultrasound servicesParticipate in quality improvement initiatives as they relate to Echo DepartmentProvide clinical experience and training for students in the Echo DepartmentQualificationsHigh School graduate or equivalentGraduate of a recognized 1-2-year non-invasive cardiology program with emphasis in cardiac anatomy and physiologyMust be licensed by the State of NevadaCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS)Minimum one-year clinical experience in an acute care facility with demonstrated proficiency in cardiac sonographyA.R.D.M.S registry eligibleR.D.C.S in adult echocardiography and registry eligible in pediatric echocardiography preferredSunrise Hospital & Medical Center provides Las Vegas and the Southwest region with high-quality, advanced healthcare services.
