Our work depends on Research Analyst Associate joining our team toHOW A RESEARCH ANALYST ASSOCIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACTProvides expertise in the operation of unmanned aircraft.Develop flight test plans and procedures. Develop briefing and training materials to support flight operations.Plans and performs a wide range of in-process and final testing of analog, digital, microwave, optical and mechanical systems and equipment under ambient and environmental conditions.Technical knowledge and experience with UAS operations to facilitate their integration safely and efficiently into the NAS.This effort requires collaboration with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, which includes manufacturers, commercial vendors, industry trade associations, technical standards organizations, academic institutions, research and development centers, governmental agencies, and other regulators.Ultimately, technical knowledge and experience to support UAS integration into the NAS without reducing existing capacity, decreasing safety, negatively impacting current operators, or increasing the risk to airspace users or persons and property on the ground any more than the integration of comparable new and novel technologies.WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:● Required Experience: 20 hours of logged time as UAS Pilot In-Charge (PIC)● Security Clearance Level: Agency Specific Suitability background check● Preferred Skills: Self Starter, Highly collaboragtive, Familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel)● Location: On-Site at Customer's location in southen New Jersey● Must have a valid US PassportGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:● 401K with company match● Comprehensive health and wellness packages● Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career● Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications● Cutting-edge technology you can learn from● Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidaysThe likely salary range for this position is $47,600 - $64,400. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
