Schedule: PRN / Day (Flexible Schedule) Location: 660 WINYAH DR, Orlando, 32803 The community you’ll be caring for: Our mission is to provide an environment where students can develop spiritually, intellectually, socially, and physically while pursuing professional expertise integrated with Christian values The role you’ll contribute: Campus Adjuncts are employed by the University to teach didactic courses which are offered on campus. Campus Adjuncts develop, design and deliver instruction in collaboration with the course coordinator and review and assist with revision as needed for department policies and procedures. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. The value you’ll bring to the team: Demonstrates behaviors at AdventHealth University in harmony with AHU’s “Four Words” of Nurture, Excellence, Spirituality, and Stewardship as well as AdventHealth’s Performance Standards of “Keep Me Safe, Love Me, Make it Easy, and Own It.” Upload the course syllabus to the course management system by the first day of class . Develop, design and deliver instruction, in collaboration with the course coordinator as indicated Engage in the academic roles of teaching, service, scholarship and service. T ake attendance each class period. Attendance taking is required at AHU. Non-attendance is to be reported to the Office of the Registrar. Grade examinations and assignments and review evaluations with students, meet all established deadlines set by the University for testing, assignments, grade submissions, and report preparation and submission Exhibits characteristics of a Christian professional.Engages in the academic roles of teaching, service, scholarship, and research. Maintains involvement in professional organizations and honor societies. Assumes other duties as assigned. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Required: Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia, Nursing, Education, or other higher education degree Graduate degree in Nurse Anesthesia specialty (1)One-year current experience in clinical practice as nurse anesthetist Current, valid State of Florida license as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) Current certification/recertification as certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
