Job Summary

Provide thought leadership and approach on Operational Technology Cybersecurity Strategy with capabilities and framework while reducing Cyber risk. Provide OT expertise and work through OT security strategy on policies and governance. Design and implement the security controls and strategy and roadmap for the Operational Technology cybersecurity landscape.

Essential Functions

  • Lead architecture assessments of OT cybersecurity, risk management and compliance activities
  • Build detailed plans for implementing complex controls and processes in both IT and OT (Gas & Electric) systems
  • Oversee necessary security controls design and governance strategy
  • Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats and design architecture elements to mitigate these threats
  • Create and update policies and procedures, incident response and guidance/thought leadership to cyber, OT and IT teams while staying current with cybersecurity trends and compliance requirements
  • Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge
  • Creating detailed implementation plans, processes, and procedures to document network architecture, implementation of solutions and best approach for future state operations
  • Provides leadership, technology guidance, collaboration and mentoring of key stakeholders and teams; develops and motivates to create a positive culture and working environment


Education Description

Bachelor degree required. Area: Computer Science or related field. Equivalent work-related experience or combination of education and work-related experience may be substituted for degree.

Experience

  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Hands on experience in cyber security concepts, security architecture, tools, process and standards/framework
  • Previous experience of security architecture for OT/ICS environments
  • Should be able to provide and design network architecture and "to be" states
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity risk management and their impacts on business operations as well as the associated technologies to help address risk and improve security posture
  • Experience working with NERC, TSA and other entity documentation requirements and updates
  • Ability to work with stakeholders ranging from C-level executives to business and technical teams
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing security standards, regulations and needed security requirements
  • Demonstrated work experience with creating security objectives, operational objectives and risk reduction with an overall design process
