Qualifications:
Building the skeleton of a structure, including walls, floors, roofs, and ceilings.
Understanding how to create stable and secure frameworks that can support the weight of the building.
Ability to work with both traditional wood framing and modern steel framing techniques.
Reading and understanding architectural plans and blueprints is essential for translating design specifications into physical structures.
Ensuring precise measurements and adherence to design specifications.
Using tape measures, levels, squares, and lasers to ensure correct dimensions and alignment.
Marking out positions for walls, doors, windows, and other components based on measurements.
Building and installing custom cabinets, shelves, and storage solutions.
Working with detailed woodwork, such as moldings, trim, and custom wood features.
Installing trim elements to enhance the aesthetic of commercial spaces.
Using saws and other tools to create intricate, clean cuts for finishing carpentry.
Ensuring that doors and windows are properly aligned, sealed, and functional.
Proficient in using hammers, saws, chisels, and drills.
Skill in using power tools such as circular saws, table saws, and nail guns.
Safe operation of tools and equipment to prevent accidents.
Ability to collaborate with other construction professionals such as electricians, plumbers, and architects.
Ensuring that tasks are completed on schedule, often working on multiple aspects of a project simultaneously.
Understanding and applying local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
