Cable Harness Engineer

gpac, a 30 years recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established company in the manufacturing industry. This family-owned electronics manufacturing company is focused on serving the defense industry and is seeking a Cable Harness Engineer to join their team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on moderate to complex problems, lead a team, and ensure products are assembled in accordance with customer requirements.
Position responsibilities:
- Manage and flex competing priorities to meet deadlines
- Collaborate with workcell team members to ensure products are assembled correctly
- Lead others by assigning work and resolving problems
Position essential job functions:
- Complete understanding of drawings, parts lists, specifications, and engineering change notices
- Word processing and spreadsheet skills
- Analyze situations and data to make informed decisions
Position skills:
- IPC 620 certification
- Degree in engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 6 years experience in the electronics and/or electro-mechanical field
- Preferably experience in contract manufacturing
Salary: $75,000-$105,000
