Security SupervisorDivision/Department: PorkLocation: Beardstown, IL Job title: Security SupervisorReports to: Ann Iberg Health and Safety Manager Type of Position:Full Time / ExemptHours: 12 hr. Shifts 1st Shift Saturday and Sunday hours as needed or required.Internal applicants must have less than 3 attendance points in order to applyGeneral Description: Responsible for managing a secure entrance and perimeter for the facility Learn all the jobs of your immediate staff. Ensure completion and accuracy of reports done by staff Complete daily and weekly reports as needed Supervise, train, and evaluate performance of staff; implement disciplinary procedures when necessary. Resolve employee's conflicts and issues promptly and objectively. Direct communication with company and outside services Maintain logs for inbound and outbound trucks Attend meetings as scheduled Reports to Safety & Health Manager Lift up to 50lbs. Other duties as assignedRequired skills:Previous security related experience a plus10-key and computer skills requiredAbility to handle conflictCommunication skills written and verbalAbility to speak multiple languages beneficial but not requiredSelf-starter & Team playerMust be able to demonstrate effective people skillsGood attendance RecordMust be able to work in all weather conditionsMust be able to pass a Background CheckEducation Requirements (if applicable)High School Diploma or GED equivalent Approved by: Annahi ValdezTitle: Employment ManagerPosting Date: 12/03/2024 Closing Date: JBS is an Equal Opportunity EmployerEOE/Vets/Disability
