Arc Health is seeking skilled Primary Care MD/DOs to provide essential healthcare services at an Indian Health Service (IHS) facility in the picturesque community of Dulce, New Mexico. We invite dedicated professionals to deliver Family Medicine care to the members of the Jicarilla Apache Nation, serving a population of over 4,000 patients. Why This Opportunity is Exciting:
Location: Dulce offers a rich cultural experience with the Jicarilla Apache Cultural Center, showcasing the history and traditions of the Jicarilla Apache Nation. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy skiing at Elk Ridge Ski Area and explore the scenic landscapes through hiking trails that provide stunning views and wildlife viewing opportunities.
Facility Overview: The facility offers a comprehensive range of healthcare services, including primary care, dental care, behavioral health, and preventive health programs. It emphasizes culturally appropriate care, integrating traditional practices with modern medicine, and actively involve community members in health initiatives to better address their specific needs. Community Focus: This position allows you to immerse yourself in a setting that respects and integrates cultural traditions into its care approach. Engage in meaningful health education and outreach programs aimed at promoting wellness within the Native communities. Position Details:
  • Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
  • No On-Call Duties
  • Commitment: Seeking providers for an initial 3 - 6 month assignment, with the possibility to extend.
Requirements:
  • Board certified in Family Medicine
  • Completed residency training
  • Valid state license and DEA
  • Active ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Valid state driver s license
  • Ability to meet health requirements and pass background checks
  • Clean NPDP report
