A Cancer Center in Bakersfield, CA, is seeking a qualified Medical Dosimetrist with a combination of education and experience that meets Federal, State, and Local guidelines. The minimum requirements include:Registration as a CMD (Certified Medical Dosimetrist).Proficiency in the Eclipse treatment planning system.Expertise in IMRT, Rapid Arc, and 3D planning techniques.Strong knowledge of computer systems and prior experience with ARIA.Join our team and play a crucial role in radiation therapy treatment planning, ensuring precision and quality care. Your expertise as a CMD, proficiency in treatment planning systems, and mastery of advanced planning techniques are essential to our commitment to patient well-being. RequirementsCMD1+years of experienceEclipse treatment planning experienceGood team working abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledgeable in the areas of radiation physics, and radiation safetyHigh level critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Works independently, but in collaboration with the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist.Has working knowledge of radiation safety principles and practices.Has the ability to interpret criteria and develop treatment plans as defined by protocols.Expertise in the technical aspects of radiation oncology and medical physics to develop optimal treatment plans. Estimated PayThe facility provides a competitive range of compensation for this position. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience and specific office location. It is possible that this position can be hired outside of this salary range based on experience.The Pay Range for this position is $ 120,000.00 - $170,000.00.
