Program Manager- Workplace Violence Prevention

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, such as healthcare administration, public health, criminal justice, nursing, social work, or psychology - Required
Additional Experience Requirements:
Five years clinical experience appropriate to clinical licensure requirement
Three (3) years program development/management experience, with at least one (1) year of Emergency Management, Workplace Violence Prevention, and/or Hospital Security experience.
Certifications/Licensures:
Clinical Licensure – Registered Nurse OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counsellor - Required
Workplace violence prevention instructor certification, such as CPI, AVADE, etc. - Preferred
Certification in healthcare security (i.e. Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator – CHPA, Certified Healthcare Safety Professional - CHSP) or related credentials - Preferred
Skills
Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to workplace violence prevention, including Cal/OSHA requirements - Required
Data collection, analysis, and interpretation - Required
Proficient in computer program skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook - Core
- Must be able to drive to multiple John Muir Health sites
Pay Range:
$104,065.00 - $156,098.00SalaryOffer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.Scheduled Weekly Hours:40
