Lead DevOps Engineer (Hybrid) Cognizant is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer with a strong commitment and dedication to join our Engineering team in Wilmington ,DE USA. Work Authorization Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.) Location: Wilmington, DE Responsibilities: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of DevOps tools and practices to ensure efficient service delivery. Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like TeamCity GOCD Jenkins GitLab and Stash. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes. Provide technical guidance and support to the development and operations teams. Monitor system performance and implement necessary improvements to enhance service reliability. Develop and maintain documentation for service management processes and procedures. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in service management. Conduct regular reviews and audits of service delivery processes to identify areas for improvement. Lead incident management and root cause analysis to resolve service disruptions promptly. Implement and manage automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality releases. Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness. Coordinate with stakeholders to define and prioritize service management goals and objectives. Provide training and mentorship to team members on DevOps tools and practices. Qualifications: 8 to 12 years experience Possess strong experience in DevOps concepts and tools such as TeamCity GOCD Jenkins GitLab and Stash. Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Show proficiency in managing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. Have a solid understanding of industry standards and best practices in service management. Display the ability to lead incident management and root cause analysis efforts. Be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. Have experience in developing and maintaining service management documentation. Demonstrate the ability to provide technical guidance and support to development and operations teams. Show a commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with the latest industry trends. Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Exhibit the ability to provide training and mentorship to team members. Have a proactive approach to ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 – $141,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
