A security concierge combines traditional security duties with customer service and hospitality elements. Here are the key responsibilities and duties of the security concierge role: Access Control and Visitor Management
Monitor and regulate entry/exit of visitors, guests, and team members
Prepare and confirm prescheduled visitors
Verify visitor identities and issue visitor badges using sine iPad
Verify TM is authorized to enter when they have forgotten their ID
Instruct TM how to request replacement of their permanent ID badge
Ensure only authorized personnel gain access to the premises
Redirect candidates to the proper entrance
Maintain visitor logs and records
Surveillance and Monitoring
Monitor security cameras, alarms, and other surveillance equipment
Identify and report any suspicious activities or security threats
Ensure all security systems and equipment are functioning properly at the post
Review and download video footage as requested by the security supervisor
Customer Service
Greet and assist visitors, team members, and contractors in a professional manner
Contact Senior Leadership or other TM when visitors arrive
Support regulatory visits, i.e., OSHA, PA DEP, L&I, etc.
Provide information and directions as needed
Handle inquiries and resolve issues courteously
Create a welcoming environment while maintaining security
Emergency Response
Respond quickly to support emergencies like fires, medical incidents, or security breaches
Assist with evacuations if necessary to include provide building access to responding EMS, Fire, Police.
Reporting and Documentation
Maintain detailed records of all incidents
Write reports on any security issues or breaches
Ensure that visitor information is accurately documented
Monitor BOLO's and communicate with affected leadership in a confidential manner
Keep records organized and up-to-date
Additional Duties
Accept and secure deliveries and packages
Support the Leadership Team with various needs, i.e., guest escorts, computer
tasks, filing, etc.,
Assist with scheduling building amenities and catering requests
Assist with event set up/break down as needed
Creates the gifts for Difference Maker annually
Assist with tasks assigned by others that can performed at the desk
Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors as needed
Makes the schedule for those staying at CW STR
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and customer service skills, be detail-oriented and observant, have the ability to multitask, and remain calm under pressure.
