We are seeking a fully onsite Quality Assurance Manager to oversee our new plant opening and to assist in setting up the processes and procedures required for this USDA/FDA operation.Job Overview:The Quality Assurance Manager will assist in leading Golden Platter Foods
effort to maintain and enhance product quality across our food production operations. This role will involve implementing process controls, and methodologies to uphold and exceed our existing quality standards. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining all Global Food Safety Initiatives (GFSI) certifications, including conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance.Key Responsibilities: Achieve QC and operational objectives by contributing to strategic plans. Identify and resolve quality and related problems. Prepare and execute action plans based on non-conformances or internal auditing. Implement and revise quality standards for production needs. Conduct internal audits and implement necessary changes. Coordinate with suppliers on quality issues, new product developments, and other supply chain matters. Maintain and improve product quality by conducting product and system audits and collaborating with management to develop new product designs and
manufacturing methods. Meet financial objectives by establishing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; and initiating corrective actions. Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, including failed processes, stability
studies,recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations. Prepare timely reports related to quality, including monthly reports, consumer complaint summaries, and yield assessments. Maintain effective communication with all levels of plant operations, providing timely updates on quality metrics, production challenges, and improvements. Perform all other duties as required.Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in a manufacturing role, preferably in the food industry. Bachelor s degree in business or a technical field related to food manufacturing. Expertise in process improvement methodologies, information analysis, and strategic planning. Demonstrated attention to detail, thoroughness, and capability to handle complex situations. Strong PC skills and proficiency in data analysis and presentation tools.Preferred Qualifications: PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual) certification desirable HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points certification is beneficialWhat We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package.
