SummaryMortenson’s Strategic Marketing team is seeking a motivated Proposal Intern to join our team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the proposal development process within the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. You will work closely with our proposal team, contributing to the preparation and submission of compelling proposals that align with our strategic goals.
Highlights of your work with Mortenson will include
- Conduct research to gather information and insights to support proposal content.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to collect necessary data and materials.
- Help develop and maintain a centralized site to elevate proposal quality and consistency across the organization.
- Continuously improve the tools and resources set in place for proposal development.
- Support the proposal team with administrative tasks as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, as needed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.

- Currently pursuing a 4 year degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Have experience in InDesign, Illustrator, and other Adobe Suite programs (preferred).
You will join an exciting and ever-changing industry with a minimum 12-week internship with our team. This opportunity is full-time for the summer of 2025. This internship is not relocation-assistance eligible.
