Lowell General Hospital, part of Tufts Medicine, is seeking experienced Surgical Technologists to join our team. Apply to learn about our newly increased pay rates and lucrative SIGN ON BONUSESThis is a great opportunity to work close to home and avoid commuting traffic at a Magnet designated, community hospital with a great cultureWork the hours you desire: 32, 36 or 40 hours available on day/evening shifts.Responsibilities:Works in a professional manner on a wide variety of surgical proceduresSelects and prepares the appropriate supplies and equipment for the surgical casesParticipates in surgery by organizing the instrumentation to the surgeon, participating in surgical counts, and performs related activities under the directions of the surgeon Assist the circulator, with positioning obtaining needed items during surgery, and assisting in room turnover activitiesOperates surgical equipment as neededParticipate in operating room activities related to quality improvement, continuing education, orientation of new personnel and emergency preparednessQualifications:Certified Surgical Technologist Associates degree or Completion of Surgical Technician Certification Coursework required1-2 years’ experience working as a Surgical Technician (preferred)LPN with Surgical Technician Certification/ExperienceWhat We Offer:Competitive salaries & benefits403(b) retirement plan with company matchTuition reimbursementFree on-campus parkingAbout Lowell General Hospital:Lowell General Hospital is an independent, not-for-profit community hospital serving the Greater Lowell area and surrounding communities.
