Volt DTS is searching for a Dynamometer Technician to support a key client, located in Wauwatosa, WI.

As a Dynamometer Technician, you will conduct engine performance analysis and gather engine performance, engine parameters, and emissions data.  In addition, you will:

  • Document engine performance data.
  • Review statistical trends in data.
  • Optimize engine control maps and strategies.
  • Perform engine simulation and data matching to ensure data quality.
  • Apply engine simulation techniques to optimize fuel system air system and other performance related systems.
  • Evaluate new engine concepts via simulation or test or both as needed.
  • Assist client with engine and test cell problem resolution.
  • Conduct ratings reviews with customers.
  • Participate in monthly goals which includes a monthly target for completing test projects along with achieving budget goals.
  • Transfer daily tasks to next shift by summarizing daily test results verbally and in writing.
  • Provide engine performance data review of test cells by using calibration engine software.
This is a full-time, contingent opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience conducting engine performance testing.
  • Experience analyzing engine emissions and performance data.
  • Experience working with engine test cells.
  • Engine simulation experience.
Pay Rate: $30.00 – 37.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
