RF Antenna Applications Engineer - Mansfield, TXA leading supplier of customized and standard RF antennas is seeking an Applications Engineer addressing the substantial volume requirements of global enterprises and tailoring solutions for precise applications. Our product portfolio extends across diverse sectors such as public safety, defense, transportation, utilities, manufacturing, construction, and consumer devices.Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 base + $10k Bonus (paid out per quarter). Benefits package includes medical, vision, life, and dental insurance, 401K plan, worker's compensation coverage, holiday leave, sick leave, maternity/paternity/adoption leaves, and more.Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday - Friday. On site. As an RF Applications Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in understanding the technical aspects of our antenna products and effectively communicating their value to customers. Collaborating with the sales team, you'll contribute to achieving sales unit revenue targets and enhancing the company's global reputation for quality expertise. This position involves providing technical support, ensuring product compliance, creating documentation, offering product training, and troubleshooting. Travel is required periodically within the US and to the UK, where our head office and design base are located.Role Overview:Reports to: VP of SalesBased in the US distribution office, you'll closely collaborate with the US sales team, the USA operations team, and other global group company sales teams. Interdepartmentally, you'll interact with radio frequency and design engineering, marketing, and quality teams.Sales Support:Understand product lines and target markets.Assist in preparing and delivering sales proposals, quotes, and presentations with a focus on technical capabilities.Provide technical and application advice to customers, supporting Sales and Quality in issue resolution.Collaborate with marketing, design, and engineering teams to enhance the sales team's understanding of products.Work with engineering and design teams to communicate customer requirements and contribute to new product development.Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training sessions.Build and maintain strong relationships with key engineers and technical stakeholders.Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using CRM software.Travel within the USA and internationally to provide product support and training.Technical Support:Review and contribute to technical documentation.Develop and deliver product training internally and externally.Assist engineering team with RF compliance and approvals.Travel within the UK and abroad to support product compliance testing.Key Performance Dimensions:Satisfactory resolution of customer issues and support within required periods.Continuous improvement of product knowledge across the company and customer base.Support and training for the sales team and customers resulting in increased sales.Qualifications and Experience:Relevant degree in RF/electrical/electronics engineering or equivalent qualification.Experience in a related role in the RF antenna or wireless communications industry desirable.Specific Knowledge & Skills:Experience with network analyzers to measure RF antennas advantageous.Desire to gain a deep understanding of our product range and markets.Some knowledge of industry standards and product compliance issues desirable.Commercially minded with the ability to understand the impact of decisions.Willingness to travel worldwide; driver's license essential.Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.Experience with CRM systems.
