This hybrid role, with occasional travel, ensures effective people services and supports strategic HR initiatives.What will you do as a People Generalist Iat Dawn Foods? Oversee onboarding, compensation, benefits, leave management, and other HR functions. Manage and resolve escalated issues from Tier I support, ensuring comprehensive and effective solutions. Assist with the People Transformation project (FutureReady) and related initiatives. Address employment-related inquiries and handle complex or sensitive issues. Maintain accurate team member files and manage leaves of absence. Ensure adherence to employment laws and company policies.
Support HR policy updates and implementation. Manage new-hire orientations and support recruiting and hiring processes. Analyze data to support various HR programs and issues. Lead or assist with benefits presentations for new hires. Process workers' compensation, unemployment, disability, and leave claims. Implement actions from engagement surveys. Uphold the
Dawn Values
and support organizational excellence.What Does It Take to be an People Generalist I at Dawn Foods? Associate s degree in Human Resourcesor related field required. Bachelor s Degree preferred. 1-3 years of relevant experience in Human Resources. Proficient in Microsoft Office and HCM systems (PeopleSoft, Workday, SuccessFactors).
