Job Title:Quality AssuranceTechnicianReporting to:QASupervisor1st and 2nd shift availableDuties and ResponsibilitiesIncludebut are not limited to:Auditing, documenting and enforcing USDA and facility regulationsPerform checks and verifications to ensure food safety and quality program is being followedMonitor SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs and perform HACCP procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulations.Must work with FSIS/USDAand present records per the agency s requestAid Quality Assurance Supervisor and management in gathering data for investigationsWork closely with production associates in monitoring meat product AQL standards and specifications, correcting any deficienciesand notifying management of any violations of USDA regulations or HACCP requirements.Maintain lab equipment by ensuring proper cleaning and regular maintenance is performedPerform all other duties as assignedKey Qualifications, Abilities,and Skills:Must be able towork flexible hours, overtime and some weekendsMust be willing to learn all aspects of food safetyMust have strongverbal and written EnglishcommunicationskillsMustbewilling to workin both hot and cold environmentsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeEOE/Vets/Disability
